2016 Peel Police research survey to begin on June 27

Residents and businesses will be contacted by phone

PRA Inc., an independent research firm,  has been tasked with the 2016 Residential Community Survey and the 2016 Business Community Survey by the Peel Regional Police,

In a statement, the police force said it was committed to providing the best policing services for Peel Region and thatsince 1994, the force has regularly conducted survey research to solicit community input to ensure a collaborative approach to strategic planning and keeping Peel Region one of the safest communities.”

The surveys will provide the community with an opportunity to voice their opinions and have direct input into the delivery of policing services.  The information gathered from the surveys is part of Peel Regional Police’s broad consultation process for the development of Peel Regional Police’s 2017-2019 Strategic Plan.

Input received will assist in determining and prioritizing policing initiatives and programs and will help Peel Regional Police provide the best policing services to meet community needs.

Commencing June 27, 2016, and continuing for a two-week period, randomly selected residents and businesses will be contacted by PRA Inc. by telephone to complete a telephone survey.   Surveys will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.  Results of the Residential Community Survey and the Business Community Survey will be available on the Peel Regional Police website at the conclusion of the survey.
