Ranveer Singh has congratulated Parineeti Chopra for being involved in director Steven Spielberg’s upcoming fantasy adventure Big Friendly Giant.
Parineeti will be dubbing for the Hindi version of the film.
She is providing the voice for Sophie, the young protagonist of the film who befriends the titular Big Friendly Giant.
The character is played by 12-year-old Ruby Barnhill while The BFG is played by Oscar-winning actor Mark Rylance in a motion capture performance.
Amitabh Bachchan will join Parineeti in the Hindi dubbed version of the film as the title character. “Being the voice of the Big Friendly Giant of the Steven Spielberg film in Hindi.. a fascinating tale…,” he tweeted.
The BFG is directed and produced by Spielberg and based on the 1982 novel of the same name by Roald Dahl. In the film, an orphan human girl befriends a benevolent giant, dubbed the “Big Friendly Giant”, who takes her to Giant Country, where they attempt to stop man-eating giants that are invading the human world. – CINEWS
