The Hrithik Roshan-Rakesh Roshan-Kangana Ranaut spat still regales us.

Hrithik row provides us comic relief leaving us in stitches, providing us a welcome distraction from the tough talk of the Thackerys messing with the Bollywood careers of half a dozen Pakistani artistes.

Days after Kangana Ranaut questioned filmmaker Rakesh Roshan’s statement made to defend his son, he has slammed the Tanu Weds Manu actress.

Rakesh said that if Hrithik broke his silence about a ‘certain actress’, it will shock the public.

Kangana, never the one to back down, eggs him on as to  why a father needed to speak for his grown-up son.

Said Kangana, “I want to know why Indian men can’t stand for themselves. He is 43 years old. Why does his father always have to come to his rescue? For how long will he keep hiding behind his big, influential father’s name? He is an adult and can pretty much handle his own controversies in show business.”

Now, after a few days’ rest, Rakesh strikes back. “I am still a working father and I proudly play an active part in my son’s life. And for those who find that unacceptable, let me say that for parents — children, whether 43 or 83 years old — are still children.”

About Hrithik whose Mohenjo Daro crashed at the box office, Rakesh said, “Hrithik has not gone through any hard times.Ups and downs are a part of every person’s life. Whatever he is doing, he is doing with a smile.”

Rakesh, why don’t you leave this for Kangana and Hrithik to settle – after all they are in the same age group and reports suggest they had been an item too! – CINEWS
