A ‘law degree in fashion’? Now it’s possible!

Washington, June 24 (ANI): It’s official! One can now get a law degree in fashion as Fordham University School of Law has recently announced their two new courses.

The Master of Law in Fashion course is for the lawyers who want to specialize in fashion, while the Master of Studies in Law course is for those who are working in the fashion industry and want to become well-versed with the legal side of the business, reported Harpersbazar.com.

Giving an insight in the programme, Professor Susan Scafidi said that legal savvy like business expertise has always been an important component in building a successful fashion house or design career, it just hasn’t yet been recognised to the same degree.

The programs, which are created in collaboration with CFDA, will be including employment issues pertaining to models, customer data protection and regulating claims involving sustainability. (ANI)
