Marion Cotillard, Brad Pitt’s co-star in Allied, reemerged for the first time since announcing her pregnancy, stepping out for the Christian Dior show at Paris Fashion Week.
The actress—who is expecting the second baby with partner Guillaume Canet—looked chic in an over-sized blouse – which hid her baby bump – with a printed slip underneath, accessorizing with a pair of black and red high heels, a black clutch and chunky white earrings. She wore her hair in a low ponytail with a wine-coloured lipstick that made her blue eyes pop.
The 41-year-old took to Instagram last week and confirmed she’s expecting while denying rumours she had an affair with her Allied co-star Brad Pitt.
“Many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting,” she wrote in the post, regarding Canet. “He is my love, my best friend, the only one that I need.”
She added, “This crafted conversation isn’t distressing. And to all the media and the haters who are quick to pass judgment, I sincerely wish you a swift recovery. Finally, I do very much wish that Angelina [Jolie] and Brad, both whom I deeply respect, will find peace in this very tumultuous moment.”
Following Pitt and Jolie’s split, rumours began swirling that the actor and Cotillard had been involved in an affair. Reports even surfaced that Jolie hired a private investigator to spy on him on set, which led her to believe he’d been unfaithful with Cotillard.
However, some denied such rumours but the film crew vowed that Brad and Marion hit it off on the set instantly with a perfect chemistry.
