Bulawayo, Oct.25 (ANI): Afghanistan have sealed a historic 3-2 series win after claiming an emphatic 73-run win over Zimbabwe in the fifth ODI in Bulawayo.
With the win, Afghanistan became the first Associate nation to win a multi-game bilateral ODI series against a Test side.
Afghanistan set a 246-run target for the hosts after being put in to bat first, thanks to two half-centuries from Noor Ali Zadran (54) and Mohammad Nabi (53).
In reply, Zimbabwe were bundled out for 172 in the 44.1 overs despite a valiant century from Sean Williams (102).
Paceman Dawlat Zadran was the pick of the bowlers for Afghanistan as claimed four wickets and was ably supported by left-arm spinner Amir Hamza (3-41). (ANI)
