Ali Zafar: Female education can make world a better place

Karachi, Mar. 28 (ANI): Ali Zafar is decked up with his music and acting projects, but this doesn’t mean that he will take a seat back on his social responsibilities. The actor believes that educating girls can make the world a better place.

In an interview with a leading daily, the 35-year-old actor said, “I recently got done with 50 shows in 60 days. I have also just finished creating more great music for my album. My first production in Pakistan is also on and we have also wrapped up my next Bollywood film, we finished shooting in Goa for it, but the director and the producer will make an announcement in due time,” reports the Express tribune.

Ali added that he is also busy with initiatives such as the cause of educating girls and building schools.

“My parents were professors, my mother is the first post doc scholar in library sciences in Pakistan and my father was the chairman of the fine arts department of the Punjab University (Pakistan). So, I understand the importance of education and therefore the cause of education is very close to my heart.”

Talking about his belief that female education can make the world a better place, the ‘Total Siyapaa’ star said that he has been sponsoring education of more than 100 girls and is building schools after the Peshawar incident.

Ali recently performed at a charity event in Dubai which was in honour of teachers around the world. (ANI)
