New Delhi, Sep 11 (IANS) Amateur Tvesa Malik saw off a strong challenge from Sharmila Nicollet and Amandeep Drall, carding two-over 74 to bag her maiden title after the final round of the 16th Leg of the Hero Women’s Professional Golf Tour at the Delhi Golf Club here on Friday.
Tvesa, who started the day in the second position, played with extreme caution in difficult conditions to end with a three-day total of 221 — two shots ahead of Amandeep.
She started well, carding two consecutive birdies on the first and second holes. A double bogey on the fourth was followed by a birdie on the fifth, but she dropped another shot on the ninth.
On her return, she dropped three more shots on the 13th, 15th and 16th holes before getting a birdie on the 18th to settle for a 74.

The Panchkula golfer played a birdie-less back nine with three bogeys on the 13th, 14th and 16th holes.
