New Delhi, Mar. 6 (ANI): American electronic commerce and cloud computing company Inc has planned to restore an encryption feature on its Fire tablets.

The move comes after the customers complained for removing the security option since the company released its latest operating system.

“We will return the option for full-disk encryption with a Fire OS update coming this spring,” company spokeswoman Robin Handaly told Reuters.

The company said that it had removed the feature in a version of its Fire OS since only a few customers used it.

Headquartered in Seattle, Washington, Amazon is the largest Internet-based retailer in the United States. The company produces consumer electronics-notably, Amazon Kindle e-book readers, Fire tablets, Fire TV and Fire Phone-and is the world’s largest provider of cloud infrastructure services (IaaS).
