Jammu, Jan. 14 (ANI): Ambiguity over the formation of a government in Jammu and Kashmir continued even on Thursday, with Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office Jitendra Singh saying it was for the BJP leadership and the legislative party to decide on the further course of action.
“But across the party line, it is an opportunity for J and K to be a part of the development journey led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said.
When asked to specify the reasons for the differences between the coalition partners, the minister said he had “no idea”. “I am sure that the party leadership must be taking cognisance of the entire sequence of events.”
The formation of government is in limbo since the demise of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on January 7. (ANI)
