Noida, Sep 4 (IANS) Police are yet to find the accused in the incident of violent clashes that took place on the campus of Noida-based Amity University in which two students were injured, one of them seriously, Noida police said on Wednesday.
The clashes took place after a parking dispute at the Amity University campus on August 28.
On August 28, two students were about to enter the university in their car when they allegedly found a Ford Endeavour parked wrongly at the gate, blocking their way.
They requested the security guards at the gate to ask the girl sitting in the SUV to remove the car and make way. However, the car was not moved and both the parties got into an argument followed by clashes.
The girl has filed a case of sexual assault.
Police have claimed that they are conducting raids to nab the accused.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Vaibhav Krishna confirmed to IANS about the raids, but said no arrest has been made so far.
“We are investigating both the cases – the incident of violent clashes in which two boys were injured and the case of sexual assault filed by the girl,” said Krishna, adding that police is trying to get a clue from the CCTV footage.
