Actress Amy Jackson says at the beginning of the shooting of Freaky Ali she was little apprehensive of acting with Nawazuddin Siddiqui because he is an excellent actor. She began to love his acing after watching him in Gangs of Wasseypur.

“I fell in love with Nawaz on screen after watching ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’. So my ‘love story’ starts with him from there. I was quite nervous to act alongside him. He is an excellent actor,” Amy told reporters at the trailer launch of ‘Freaky Ali’.

“Throughout the film (‘Freaky Ali’) he taught me a lot of things. He is so intense. He helped me with my Hindi and how to interpret things. I have learnt a lot from him while working working in thefilm,” she said.

This is Amy’s third Hindi film after ‘Ekk Deewana Tha’ and Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Singh is Bliing’.

In Sohail Khan’s Freaky Ali’, Amy plays the love interest of the ‘Manjhi’ actor. On romancing in the film, Nawazuddin says, “It was freaky experience”. In ‘Freaky Ali’, Nawazuddin plays a cricketer and gangster who takes on golf by chance and goes on to stun even the professionals. The film is about how golf, considered as the game of the elites, can be mastered by a poor man.
It will release on September 9.

Amy Louise Jackson is a British model and actress, who appears in Indian films, primarily in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu films. After college, she began modelling at age 16, going on to win the 2009 Miss Teen World competition and the 2010 Miss Liverpool title.

Subsequently, Tamil film director A L Vijay spotted her and introduced Jackson as an actress in the 2010 Tamil period-drama Madrasapattinam. Jackson continued working in India and went on to debut in other film industries as well. She had her first Bollywood release in 2012, the romantic drama Ekk Deewana. = CINEWS
