New Delhi, Oct. 31 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday flayed Congress leader Anand Sharma for his controversial remark on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying it indicated ‘bankruptcy’ in the dictionary of the Congress.
“It’s appalling to learn that a tall leader like Anand Sharma of Congress has called the Prime Minister with such kind of words which I don’t even feel fit to repeat. This shows the bankruptcy of the dictionary of the Congress and such words shouldn’t be used for the Prime Minister,” BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra told ANI.
Patra also said that Prime Minister Modi doesn’t belong to any political party rather he is the Prime Minister of the counrty.
“One should always know that when such kinds of words are being used against the Prime Minister, it not only demeans the him but also the stature of the country and hence one should show magnanimity with words,” he added.
Anand Sharma had criticised Prime Minister Modi for his speech on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, saying the former was not suitable for his post, as he lacked knowledge.
“He does not know how to maintain the decency of his post. If he would have maintained decency, then he would not have insulted those who have sacrificed their lives for the nation,” Sharma told ANI. (ANI)
