Anoushka Shankar still learns from his dad in memories

Mumbai, Feburary 13 (CINEWS): Mainstream sitar player Anoushka Shankar has been designated for a Grammy in the Best World Music Album for Home this year.

The artist, who is currently prepared with her ninth studio collection, Land of Gold, slated for discharge in April, says that she alludes to her dad Pt Ravi Shankar’s recordings at whatever point she searches for direction.

Anoushka offers, “regardless I gain from my recollections of learning with him. There are such a large number of more subtle elements that continue returning through those recollections that I might have missed something else. When I am pondering him and reviewing his recollections, I understand my missteps.”
