Anushka Sharma, who ventured into Bollywood in 2008 has carved a niche for herself by working under a variety of film makers.
She will be seen next in Imtiaz Ali’s next film. She also featured in newcomer Navdeep Singh’s dark film NH10 and has experimented with her roles.
The 28-year-old said that her interest in these directors is because they all are from different schools of thoughts.
“All their films are very different. I think if you, as an actor, can convince such directors, who are different from one another, that you can be a convincing part in their film. I think that for me is a huge success because that just shows that everyone sees you as a versatile actor,” Anushka said.
Asked if she considers working with big names important, she said: “I feel like it is for the work they do. For me, it’s not like I am going to look at the money the director’s films have made before. For me, it is about working with the director whose work I have admired.”
The Dil Dhadakne Do actress said that she once made a list of directors she wanted to work with and at present she is happy to have worked with most of them. – CINEWS
