Heated arguments with agitated driving staff, hired for the duration of the shooting for her film ‘Phillauri’, marred Anushka Sharma’s return to Mumbai from the film’s sets in Patiala, Punjab.
As indicated by sources, drivers from the film’s unit made a barricade outside the inn, demanding their dues and other installments which were not cleared by the production house.
Anushka Sharma had to struggle to resolve the situation as they did not allow anyone to move out until the payment issue was sorted.Drivers had stopped their vans out and about, hindering the way. Virat Kohli was going to Anushka at the time, and both the cricketer and the Anushka , alongside the film’s team, were stuck inside the lodging till the issue was resolved. Sources on the sets say that Anushka was entirely disturbed about the scene. Anushka took a flight back to Mumbai from Chandigarh at night. “There was some confusion, and soon after talking to the drivers, things were resolved,” said a unit member.
