Actor-director Arbaaz Khan, neither confirmed nor denied reports when asked whether Sonakshi Sinha will act in his upcoming “Dabangg 3”. While there have been reports that Sonakshi will not be part of the third instalment of “Dabangg”, Arbaaz says it’s not completely true.
“The script is not ready. There will be changes in the film and there could be an introduction of some actors,” he said adding that it’s “not completely true that Sonakshi is not going to be part of ‘Dabangg 3. It all depends on the script. You got to move on and make something interesting for the audience,” he added.
Arbaaz feels that people “jump to speculations”. “You have to be very careful of how you don’t lose the connect with the audience by not having Sonakshi and how you give something new to the audience,” he added.
Sonakshi was launched in Bollywood with the blockbuster film “Dabangg” in 2010. The actress went on to be part of “Dabangg 2”, which was directed by Arbaaz.
Currently, Arbaaz is waiting for his brother Salman Khan to give him dates for Dabangg 3. “This is the man (Salman) who will give me the window (dates) otherwise he will show me the door,” Arbaaz said.
“Dabangg 3” will go on floors by end of 2017.
Arbaaz will be next seen in Sohail Khan’s Freaky Ali. About his character in Freaky Ali, Arbaaz said, “I play Maqsood in the film who is a side kick. He is a gangster, a petty thief, extortionist and when Ali (Nawazuddin’s character) is in trouble, he helps him. Ali and I share up and down equation.” Freaky Ali is set to be released on September 9. – CINEWS
