Army chief visits Mamun military station

New Delhi, July 9 (IANS) Army chief General Bipin Rawat on Monday visited Mamun Military Station in Pathankot to review the operational preparedness and interacted with the troops.

Western Army Command chief Lt. General Surinder Singh accompanied General Rawat. The two were received by General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Rising Star Corps Lt. General Y.V.K. Mohan and Commander of Pathankot Air Force Station, Air Commodore P. Mohan.

General Rawat was briefed by Lt. General Mohan about the operational preparedness and upgradation of security infrastructure.
