Almost 50 impaired drivers were arrested during the Labour Day long weekend on GTA roadways.
Between 6 p.m. on Friday until 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Toronto police charged 10 drivers with impaired operation by alcohol, 13 are facing charges of 80 MG and over operation and five are facing charges for refusing to provide a breath sample.
One of the drivers arrested was a man spotted falling out of a slow moving vehicle. A passerby was able to place the moving vehicle in park and call 9-1-1.
The driver was arrested and taken to hospital to be examined where he blew over four times the legal limit. The man had also been previously convicted of an impaired driving offence once before.
Police also said four people were given licence suspensions for being in the warn range.
