In an exciting turn of events, Salman has acquired the rights of a Marathi comedy- Shahanpan Dega Deva. However, what’s even more interesting is that Kapil Sharma has ended up buying the rights of the same film.

However, Salman bought the rights of the film to make it in Hindi and Kapil has purchased it to make a Punjabi version. The film helmed by Sudesh Manjrekar released in 2011 and revolved around five mentally unstable men, who are being treated in a unique way at a private mental asylum.

Meanwhile, Kapil is known for making a show that broke all norms that were set for a comedy show and is currently sweating it out to win the TRP game over his competitors.
