Vigo (Spain), Sep 10 (IANS) French striker Antoine Griezmann scored a brace as Capital football club Atletico Madrid thrashed Celta Vigo 4-0 on Saturday to achieve the first win in La Liga after three games.
With this win, Atletico now have five points, provisionally occupying the fourth position, while Celta are at the bottom of La Liga table with no points.
After a goalless first half, Koke received a good pass from Griezmann to open scoring in the 53rd minute, reports Efe.
After his assist in the first goal, Griezmann scored the second goal for his team with a header after 73 minutes.
Griezmann again scored with his head after a cross from Juanfran in the 81st minute.
Just eight minutes later, Angel Correa scored the fourth goal after finishing a great play from Koke.
