Before the release of his biopic, former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin has wanted to see the film to make sure if he has been accurately portrayed in the movie.
And according to a press report, while watching the movie, he had broken down during a particular scene, which is said to be a scene which showed a stressful phase of his life.
Emraan Hashmi starrer ‘Azhar,’ will be released on May 13.
The scene was when the cricketer was accused of playing a major role in the 2000 match–fixing. The report states that Azhar requested the directors to chop off the scene from the movie. The report quoted a source saying that it was a very upsetting scene for Azharuddin and thus he asked for it to be removed from the film and the makers agreed to his demand.
Now, the reference to the CBI enquiry has been added to the dialogues that Lara Dutta‘s character says instead.
The film is going to shed light on various aspects of Azhar‘s life and his ex–wife, Sangeeta Bijlani. – CINEWS
