Bengaluru, July 7 (IANS) Leading Chinese language internet search engine Baidu on Thursday announced the launch of its international mobile advertisement platform DU+ Plan in India, aimed at increasing revenue for mobile developers.
“The growth of mobile advertising in India is astounding. With the DU+ Plan, developers will be able to experience first-hand how they can capitalise on that growth through our ad platform,” said Baidu India General Manager Tim Yang.
The new plan promises 100 per cent revenue from mobile advertising campaigns developers carry out on Biadu DU Ad platform.
“Through this initiative, Baidu aims to help app developers grow their business, and in doing so bolster the growth of mobile ecosystems in emerging markets worldwide,” said a Baidu statement.
The Chinese IT major said India is a fast-growing digital advertising market, especially with smartphones predicted to grow to 651 million by 2019.
Baidu’s Du Ad platform offers smart targeted advertisements to advertisers with effective monetisation solutions, also helped by its Android marketplace MoboMarket.
