Bangladesh East West University students continue protests on Day 2

Dhaka, Sept. 10 (ANI): Students of Bangladesh’s East West University continued with their protests for a second consecutive day at Rampura in Dhaka today against the VAT imposed on tuition fees of private universities.

According to the Daily Star, students are chanting slogans against the VAT on tuition fees.

Police and the university students clashed yesterday when the latter were staging demonstration in the capital’s Badda area.

At least 35 people were injured in the clash. (ANI)
