Bangladesh police, army seize firearms, bullets from remote area

Dhaka, Sept. 7 (ANI): Bangladesh police and military have seized five firearms and 300 bullets in a joint drive from a remote area in the Dighinala Upazila of the country’s Khagrachhari District.

According to the Daily Star, the joint force also arrested a man, but have not identified him as yet.

The commanding officer of the Dighinala army zone, Lieutenant Colonel Mohsin Reza, confirmed the arms and ammunition recovery before media.

The security force conducted the drive in the area to recover the firearms hidden by criminals, the paper quoted sources, as saying. (ANI)
