Benzema again caught speeding without his license

Madrid, Oct 31 (IANS) Real Madrid’s French forward Karim Benzema found himself in hot water again after being caught by the police in Madrid as he was speeding in a restricted area.

Benzema did not have his driver’s license with him so police started disciplinary measures on Friday, reports Efe.

The Frenchman was caught speeding in March 2013 in a similar incident and was obliged to pay a fine of 150 euros (around $165) every day for eight months (a total of $20,000), and had his license suspended.

Last June, a misdemeanor was filed against Benzema over charges of committing an offence after he was caught speeding without his license near Madrid airport.
