Washington D.C, Feb. 8(ANI): Beyonce, Coldplay and Bruno Mars were at the top of their games, while performing at the 2016 Super Bowl Halftime as they nailed the show with their killing performances.
The British band took the stage first and enthralled their fans through a medley of songs, including ‘Viva La Vida’, ‘Paradise’ and then Chris Martin crooned `Adventure For a Lifetime’ from their new album, ‘A Head Full of Dreams’, E! Online reports.
After this, the show kicked into overdrive when Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars turned up for their smash hit ‘Uptown Funk,’ which segued perfectly into Beyonce singing her new single, ‘Formation.’
The `Crazy in Love` hit-maker wore a black custom leather jacket with gold metal military details and her outfit channeled Michael Jackson’s performance from the early ’90s.
She and Bruno then combined with Martin for an awesome closeout of the show and “Uptown Funk.”
The performers eventually met on stage and finished ‘Uptown Funk,’ while a montage of past Super Bowl performers started to play.
Coldplay also performed on Prince’s ‘Purple Rain,’ U2’s ‘Beautiful Day,’ and their own songs, ‘Fix You’ and ‘Up&Up.'(ANI)
