Biggest Marathi language movie hit to be screened in city

Toronto, February 5 (CINEWS): Mumbai is a city associated with Hindi-language dominated Bollywood but often forgotten is the fact that it is Marathi that is the mother tongue.
“Natsamrat” the biggest box office hit of Marathi Cinema is scheduled to be screened on 7th Feb at the Albion Cinema is a sold out show followed by a second show on 21st February at Cinestarz Mississauga.
“Natsamrat”, a film which is based on a drama by Mr. V.V.Shirwadkar, is a heartwarming story of a retired veteran who is a victim of old age alienation and hostility by his own children.
The director Mr. Mahesh Manjrekar has done a splendid job in compiling all the characters together with their emotions. Mr. Nana Patekar who is the lead role has again managed to take this movie on to an incomparable platform demonstrating his commendable acting skills and delivering a jaw dropping performance. With all the artists Shri. Nana Patekar, Mrs. Medha Manjrekar, Mr. Vikram Gokhale, Ms. Mrunmayee Deshpande, Sunil Barve and Ajit Parab have added their contribution to make this an entire bouquet of an outstanding product depicting the pangs of old age and dishonor inflicted on Ganpatrao Belwalkar by his own children. Natsamrat now has rocked and topped the box office of Marathi Cinema. One would not want to miss it.
The first show is sold out and there are some tickets available for the second show on 21st Feb in Mississauga.
