New Delhi, Nov. 8 (ANI): Responding to the lead by the NDA-led alliances in the early trends for the Bihar Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday credited the lead to the ‘inspiring leadership’ of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the ‘organisational structure’ implemented by party president Amit Shah in Bihar.
“Have been saying from the start that we are confident of a win and that we will form our government here. The early trends right now are vindicating our stand that the BJP-led alliances will win with a majority. Development has been our agenda since day one and the people of Bihar are intelligent enough to vote for that,” BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav told ANI.
He praised Prime Minister Modi for the early leads, saying his inspired leadership had no comparison and it had influenced immensely. He also credited party president Amit Shah for hsi organisational structure that he had implemented in Bihar, which was a major contributing factor.
Union Communication and Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad also lauded the early lead by BJP saying the people of Bihar have voted for the development and the vision that the government has outline for them.
Fire crackers exploded and party workers began celebrations outside the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office here on Sunday and trends indicate an early lead for the NDA-led alliances.
According to the Election Commision data, BJP leading in 11 seats, Janata Dal United (JDU) in five, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in nine, Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) in two, Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) in two and the Congress in one seat. (ANI)
