Bill Cosby’s alleged mistress defends him saying he `never drugged me`

Washington DC, July 11 (ANI): A woman named Teresa Taylor, who claims to Bill Cosby’s mistress, has come to his defense saying that the star never drugged her in the three years they were together.

Taylor asserted that she was in a relationship with the comedian, 77, for three years, starting in 1979, and said that Cosby was a kind man and it was disheartening to see what was happening in the press, Fox News reported.

Multiple women have claimed that the star had drugged and sexually assaulted them, with a recent court testimony revealing that Cosby had admitted to purchasing drugs to give to women he wanted to sleep with.

Despite all this, Taylor said that she hadn’t gone public about her personal life and didn’t believe half of the women.

She said that though she respects them, Cosby’s fame would have made it easy for him to find sexual partners as he was one of the most powerful men in Hollywood at the time.

Taylor, 56, revealed that she had met Cosby backstage when she was just 19, while he was guest hosting ‘The Tonight Show’ in 1979. Though he was married, they went out, and even double dated with Hugh Hefner and his former flame Barbi Benton at the Playboy Mansion.

Meanwhile, Gloria Allred, who is representing several women that have accused Cosby for sexual assault, said that Taylor’s experience was irrelevant to the case, as they had never claimed that Cosby drugged every woman he had a consensual sexual relationship. (ANI)
