BJP accuses Kejriwal of ‘double standards’ over DCW appointment

New Delhi, July 15 (ANI): BJP leader Satish Upadhyay on Wednesday accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of ‘double standards’ over the appointment of Swati Maliwal as the new Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief.

“He is talking ‘double standards’. Arvind Kejriwal wants to say that he will do whatever he wants to do and has appointed himself ‘Mr Clean’ ,” Upadhyay told ANI.

Kejriwal has drawn sharp criticism from the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for appointing Maliwal, who is the wife of AAP leader Naveen Jaihind, as the DCW chief.

Maliwal, an RTI activist activist and the youngest member of India against Corruption was working as an advisor (grievances) to Kejriwal before the appointment. (ANI)
