New Delhi, Nov 29 (IANS) In a bid to promote e-wallet transactions and explain the benefits of digital economy, the Delhi BJP on Tuesday held “My Mobile-My Bank-My Wallet” programme to acquaint both traders and the common man with mobile spending features.

“Today traders and consumers are finding it tough, but a cashless economy will ultimately be in the interest of the traders, consumers and the society at large,” Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Satish Upadhyay said.

Hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of using digital technology, he said: “My Mobile-My Bank-My Wallet when adopted will make purchases safe for an individual, as he would not need to carry cash.”

Emphasiging on the benefits of digital economy, Upadhyay said, “A purchase billed through bank will ensure product guarantee for consumer and proper tax for the government.”
