Bobby Simha is all set to make a comeback in Malayalam.
The actor, who was last seen in a cameo in ‘Oru Vadakkan Selfie’, will join his ‘Jigarthanda’ co-star Siddharth and Dileep in a pivotal role in Rathish Ambat’s ‘Kammarasambhavam’.
Confirming the casting, Bobby says, “I have signed the movie and will start shooting from September 20 in Kochi. It’s got a brilliant script and I am excited to work with Dileep in the film.”
About his character, the National Award winning actor says, “I can’t reveal much about the role except that I play a Malayali who has his roots in Tamil Nadu. But my character is set in Kerala and I will be speaking Malayalam and Tamil in the film.”
On signing the Malayalam venture amid his packed schedule in Kollywood, the actor explains, “After ‘Neram’, I also wanted to do Malayalam films as I keep following the movies. I was waiting for the right script and role, and this movie sort of ticked all the right boxes.”
Despite having actors such as Siddharth and himself as part of the cast, Bobby also says that the movie will not be a bilingual.
The film, written by Murali Gopy, is about the adventures of a man named Kammaran, played by Dileep. – CINEWS
