Celebrating Canada Day is a longstanding Brampton tradition. This year’s event, taking place on Friday, July 1 from noon to 10 pm at Chinguacousy Park, will cover 80 acres and include midway rides, inflatable amusements, a fireworks show, live performances by acclaimed artists and much more. Last year, the family friendly celebration drew a crowd of more than 140,000 people.

Brampton community groups and businesses are encouraged to participate and utilize this opportunity to promote their services and interact with residents. Applications can be found at www.brampton.ca/events, and must be submitted to events@brampton.ca by Friday, May 13 in order to be considered.
