A Brampton man has been charged with stealing tractor trailers filled with bread products and dog food from the Milton and Halton Hills area, Halton Regional Police report.
Police said the victim of one of the thefts spotted the stolen truck just after 8 am on Monday, travelling along Steeles Avenue in Halton Hills. Police came across the truck in Milton and followed it into a trucking yard.
The driver was arrested, according to police.
The bread products and dog food were valued at a total of $98,000. Police recovered the bread products and a truck reported stolen from Mississauga.
Davinder Mann, 29, of Brampton has been charged with motor vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, two counts of theft over $5,000 and three counts of breach of probation.
