The City of Brampton announced on Tuesday that it has retained the rights to show the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Championship games on the big screen in Garden Square. Residents are invited to come together to cheer on their favourite teams between June 10 and July 10, 2016.

Planned programming in Garden Square may need to be adjusted to accommodate the broadcast schedule. For a list of the games that will be shown on the big screen, and details on other events and activities in the square, please visit

Soccer fans are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs, as seating is limited.

Garden Square is located in Downtown Brampton at the corner of Queen and Main Streets. This public gathering place is host to a variety of great programming, events and free entertainment, including concerts, movie nights, an artists’ marketplace, and festivals. Parking is available nearby, however people are encouraged to take Brampton Transit and can use the eRide Trip Planner, found at, to plan their trip.
