BRAMPTON

Peel Regional Police are hot in pursuit of four males and a female following a home invasion where two men were injured.

This horrifying incident happened on Eastern Avenue, in the area of Kennedy Road South and Queen Street East, around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 7.

Peel Const. Bally Saini said money and property was taken when the robbers burst into the home. Two men inside, aged 29 and 27, were struck several times.

It appears “they had rifles” and were masked, Saini said.

Peel Region Paramedics transported the older victim to hospital with injuries that required stitches.

Heavily-armed tactical officers and police dogs responded but the hunt continues for the five.

Anyone with information can call police at 905-453-2121, ext. 3410 or Peel Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
