Brooke Bond truly lived up to its tagline ‘The Taste of Togetherness’ bringing together its much-loved tea with lovers of Bollywood to enjoy the recently released blockbuster. The popular movie hall saw well over 600 guests who were there to watch the movie and celebrate together.
For the event, Albion cinema was resplendent with Brooke Bond Red Label tea branding. A giant Brooke Bond teacup complete with giant tea bag pillows, took center stage. As guests entered the cinema foyer, they were welcomed with delicious Indian snacks, mithai (sweets), and steaming cups of the ever-popular Brooke Bond Red Label tea.
The feeling in the air was festive, as people mingled and chatted. The Master of Ceremonies welcomed guests and dignitaries to the event, followed by a speech by ParthaGuha from Unilever International. As the evening progressed, a lucky draw was held, and exultant winners came up to receive Brooke Bond gift hampers.
The high point of the evening was, of course, the special screening of the Hindi movie PremRatanDhanPayo starring Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor. Studded with colourful costumes, dance sequences, and supers stars, this family movie kept everyone thoroughly entertained.
Among the celebrants at the event were Unilever’s industry partners, media friends, and loyal consumers, many of whom had recently visited the Brooke Bond Diwali booth at Bramalea City Centre, snapped pictures and shared online to win exclusive tickets to this Bollywood event.
The Brooke Bond Bollywood event was managed by the leading multicultural agency Dyversity Communications Inc. “It gives us great satisfaction and happiness to be part of this blockbuster event. We have spent over two decades successfully bringing together our brands with ethnic consumers,” said Albert Yue, President & CEO, Dyversity Communications.
“Brooke Bond Red Label tea has always been celebrated for its great taste, flavour and aroma, which makes it popular at gatherings of families and friends. We have extended this circle to our loyal consumers as well as our partners, so we can all celebrate the taste of togetherness,” says Partha Guha, Sr. Manager – Marketing & Business Development, Unilever International.
