New Delhi, March 15 (IANS) Delhi power distribution company (discom) BSES on Thursday announced new round-the-clock helpline numbers for its sister discoms in the capital — BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd (BRPL) and BSES Yamuna Power Ltd (BYPL).
While the number for BRPL, operating in south and west Delhi, is 19123, that of BYPL, with jurisdiction in east and central Delhi, is 19122, a BSES release said.
“For services, these numbers mirror the existing call centre numbers 39999707 (BRPL) and 39999808 (BYPL),” it said.
“Besides registering ‘no supply’ and streetlight (non-LED) complaints through these numbers, consumers can also avail/apply for a host of services like new connections, name changes, duplicate bills, resolve billing and metering queries, as well as anonymously report power thefts,” it added.
BSES also said it has integrated its mobile application with its backend IT modules, making it possible for its consumers to get many of these services without having to visit the discom office.
Now, besides registering ‘no supply’, streetlights and emergency complaints, consumers can also use the upgraded mobile app for applying for new connections, paying electricity bills, view past and current billing details and get location of BSES offices, among others, the statement said.
“BSES mobile app is now available for both Android and IOS phones. Consumers can download this app from the BSES website www.bsesdelhi.com, Google Play and App Store,” it added.
