The BSF recovered a Chinese-made pistol, ammunition, Pakistani currency and SIM cards, and a plastic pipe from the spot.

The incident took place in the area of Border out Post (BoP) Barekke in Ferozepur sector.

While one intruder was killed in the exchange of fire with BSF troopers, another escaped back into Pakistan.
