Just when you thought there couldn’t be any more scarier roller coaster rides at Canada’s Wonderland comes news of a new one called the Yukon Striker which is being introduced in the Spring of 2019.
It will feature a 90 degree drop and is expected to reach speeds of up to 130 km/hr.
Canada’s Wonderland is calling it, “the world’s fastest, longest and tallest dive coaster.”
No exact cost for the coaster was given, but it was reportedly significantly more than the $28 million it cost to build the Leviathan in 2012.
The management calculates that they can rake in the big bucks from the surge of thrill seekers from across the country to take a ride on are the roller coaster opens next year.
And for the first time ever, Canada’s Wonderland will be open during the Christmas season in 2018.
Canada’s Wonderland’s Winterfest will feature skating on the water in front of Wonder mountain and a lighting festival.
There are talks of a hotel also being planned in the near future. -CINEWS
