Car sought after shots fired in Richmond Hill

Investigators with the York Regional Police #2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect vehicle and its occupants after several shots were fired at a residence in the Town of Richmond Hill.

On Friday, May 6, 2016, at approximately 2:35 a.m., police received reports of the sound of gunshots on Shell Court.  When officers arrived, they located bullet holes in the front of the residence.  Four adults and two children who were inside the home were not injured.

Investigators have obtained images of the suspect vehicle leaving the scene.

Vehicle Description:

  • 2015-2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk SUV; White with a black stripe on the centre of the hood; Panoramic sunroof.
