Ghaziabad, April 6 (IANS) A car thief who sold stolen luxury cars in India’s northeast by giving them chassis and engine numbers of vehicles bought at police auction has been arrested, police said on Thursday.

Senior Superintendent of Police Deepak Kumar told the media that Parvez, who carried a reward of Rs 5,000, was a resident of Meerut in western Uttar Pradesh.
