Karnail Singh Peermohammed, the President of All India Sikh Students Federation said that a case has been filed against Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal by AISSF’s Delhi unit under IPC Section 295 A, which deals with deliberate and malicious acts which outrage one’s religious feelings.

This was after a local magazine published a cover photo of Kejriwal dressed as a Sikh warrior.

He further added “We are taking a serious note of it. The photo showing Kejriwal as ‘Nihang’ has hurt the sentiments of Sikhs.”

The Nihang, belonging to a martial tradition begun by Sikh Gurus, are known for their bravery in the battlefield. – CINEWS
