Investigators from the Special Victims Unit on Monday arrested a Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board teacher in connection with a sexual assault investigation involving a student.
Amanda Perreault, a 27 year-old teacher working at St. James Catholic Global Learning Centre in Mississauga, has been arrested and charged with Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference, Luring to Commit Invitation to Sexual Touching and Making Sexually Explicit Material Available to A Child. Perreault appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on June 7, 2016 in answer to the charges.
Investigators are concerned that there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward, and have asked potential victims or witnesses to contact police.
