New Delhi, June 29 (ANI): Congress leader Ajay Maken on Monday advised the Central Government and the Delhi Government to not fight in the public domain and amicably settle all the matters between them.
“It is the fourth-fifth time that the High Court had to intervene in the fight between Central Government and the Delhi Government. Would like to suggest them to not fight in public domain and settle these matters amicably,” Maken told ANI.
Earlier in the day, the Delhi High Court issued a notice to the Government of India on the application filed by the Delhi Government against the appointment of M.K. Meena as the city’s Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) chief.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Government had on Saturday filed an interim application in the Delhi High Court against Meena’s appointment.
BJP leader Satish Upadhyay, however, said Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had developed a habit to go to the court over every issue. (ANI)
