New Delhi, Feb 18 (ANI): In the span of six years, actor Pradhuman Singh has hardly got anywhere beyond his character of Osama Bin Laden in the flick, ‘Tere Bin Laden.’
While the 2010 film made news and was a hit, the actor did not fetch a lot of work and remained under ground as no one could recognise him without his Osama make-up on.
Now that the actor is all set to make his ‘Osama presence’ felt again in his upcoming film, ‘Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive’, he reveals he has taken everything positively which happened to him in the last six years.
“Amjad Khan did Gabbar, he has done thousands of films but how many do we remember? Sometimes when there are characters larger than life, you have to live with it. The character becomes your identity unless something better and bigger comes in. When I did the first part, nobody knew me. Everybody had their own notion about me. It took me six years to let people know that I am Pradhuman Singh who has done the character of Osama in Tere Bin Laden. Those six years have gone into creating information about me. Now when people are watching the premiere shows of the sequel, Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive, they are recognizing me as an actor,” said Pradhuman to ANI.
Pradhuman is confident that after this film, not only the industry but also the general people will recognise him as an actor though it would take some time.
‘Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive’ is a comedy film which stars Manish Paul, Pradhuman and Sikander Kher in lead roles.
The film is scheduled to release on February 26. (ANI)
