China extends help to Quake-Hit Afghan, Pak

Kabul, Oct. 28 (ANI): The Chinese Government has offered disaster relief to earthquake hit regions of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lu Kang said that the government will contribute to the relief work in quake hit areas of Afghanistan and Pakistan according to the requirement.

Even the China’s Red Cross will provide emergency assistance in cash to the two nations, the TOLONews reported.

On Monday, a 7.5 magnitude earthquake jolted Afghanistan and Pakistan which killed at least 300 people and caused immense damage in the area.

Over 115 people have died and 4000 houses have been damaged in Afghanistan in the massive earthquake. The relief efforts have not reached in some affected areas as they are under Taliban control. (ANI)
