The shooting for Chiranjeevi’s 150th film titled as Kathilanthodu has just kicked off.
Recently, the super star was seen walking to the set erected for a scene. He looks young for his age and was sporting a moustache and a stubble. The first scene was shot on a prison set.
He calmly walked into the sets along with the director V V Vinayak and comedian Ali, who is also playing a lead role in the remake.
Actors Allu Arjun, Allu Sirish and producer Allu Aravind also visited the sets to support Chiru, to whom they are all related.
Kathilanthodu is the remake of the Vijay starrer Kaththi. Chiru’s son Ram Charan is bankrolling his father’s comeback film with his production house called Konidela Productions.
The leading lady of the film is yet to be finalised but Nayanthara, Anushka Shetty and Deepika Padukone are being considered. The makers are aiming for a release for Pongal 2017. – CINEWS
