New Delhi, Dec 10 (IANS) The national capital experienced a cloudy Thursday, with the maximum temperature settling at 25.5 degrees Celsius or a notch above the season’s average, after a foggy morning and some traces of rain, the met department said. Friday is likely to be similar.
“Shallow to moderate fog would occur at many places on Friday morning and dense fog would be seen at isolated places. The sky is likely to remain cloudy for the rest of the day,” said a met department official.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 24 and 12 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Thursday’s minimum temperature was 13.7 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season’s average.
According to weather office, the city experienced traces of rain till 8.30 a.m. while the rain fall was nil afterwards.
Wednesday’s maximum temperature was recorded at 23.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season’s average, while the minimum temperature settled at 12 degrees Celsius, three notches above the average of this time of the season.
